I’m Sherry, the creator and author behind this blog. I’m a daughter and mother that is looking for answers. My mother was a force and an amazing influence in my life. Her story is one that I believe is one that needs to be told, remembered, and understood.

What you will find in this blog
My mother left this world in 2022, and her memory should be celebrated. Her life has touched so many. My goal, with this blog, is to tell her story as best that I can. WARNING….this blog is not for the faint of heart, but those that need to understand the truth about the challenges of women from the1950’s to the present. What may surprise you is that there has not been that much change. Women are not property. “Family” is not a cloak or catch-all to hide abuse in any form. NO man has the right to violate the emotional or physical sanctity of the human body.
